Unlike paper-based systems, questions answered on the iPads cannot be skipped or answered with invalid responses. This results in error-free and complete information - over 99% of surveys collected through CareSense are complete.
The data verification process continues after the survey has been transmitted to CareSense's servers. On top of numerous business rules and computerized methods of data validation, a CareSense employee scans each incoming patient record to verify its quality and placement in the database. Any inconsistencies in the data are reported back to the practice, and the records are only introduced to the database once all problems have been resolved. This rigorous data verification process guarantees the integrity, reliability, and outstanding quality of the final outcomes database.
